About the Program
Mentorship &
Leadership Development
Founded in 1970 in Los Angeles, Kappa League is a national mentoring and leadership development program of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. The Detroit Alumni Chapter carries this tradition forward, serving young men in high schools across the Metro Detroit area.
The program is built around five core phases — each designed to provide participants with the tools, exposure, and support they need to develop into exceptional leaders and community contributors.
Throughout the year, participants engage in activities aligned to one or more of these phases, strengthening character, expanding leadership skills, and gaining meaningful exposure to opportunities that support personal growth and long-term success.
